  1. This is the heart of the Corbières and I am glad you enjoyed it. Durban is the largest in our commune of thirteen villages. We are also on the Route de Cathars. From what I can see on your post the trail is just south of us. Glad you enjoyed your time here and thank you for choosing to follow one of my blogs. Next time you are in the area, check out our delicious wines and visit some of the magnificent Cathar Chateaux. Many tourists travel here every year.

    • Hi , the villages and wine vineyards in that area are beautiful and so much fun to explore. And though there are tourists, the area still retains much of it’s natural character that is aligned with the wine industry. I hope to return one day.
